Paste

This button is used to insert the contents of the clipboard into your document.

If you are copying and pasting within a drawing, the copy will be offset from the original object(s) by one gridpoint up and right.

If you are pasting objects from a different document into the current drawing, they may be pasted outside of the currently visible area; this is a possible consequence of different sizes, locations and zooms on the source and destination drawings.  If you do not see pasted objects use the Zoom to Document command (F4) immediately after pasting to adjust your zoom to include all objects in the current document.
