The first button on the File toolbar and the New Project command in the File menu are used to start a new Stardraw Design 7 project. When you have started a new project it will be given a default filename. As you create more new documents in a single work session each document will be given a sequential default filename.  Use Save As to save the project with a new file name.

To add a new drawing to your project, use the Drawings view.
